Salvation In The Church
(Matthew 26:28) for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

In taking communion, you drink the Blood of Christ. Jesus said, the drinking of his blood is for the remission of sin.

If you receive remission of sin through communion, why do you confess your sins to a Priest?

My Grandmother was Catholic and I never understood this, and hope you can give me a better understanding.

The word "grace" here is Hebrew "chen" (Strong's H2580) that means favour, grace, charm, elegance, acceptance, kindness.---StrongAxe

I agree, Grace is the favor of God, not Christ living in you, as Kathrine believes. But you challenged me, not Kathrine. So, Do you agree with Kathrines definition?

Interpret The Bible
A majority of Christians believe that the Bible, in some way or other, is the word of God. According to your own logic, that doesn't really matter.

A Majorities beliefs have no relevance, in the revelation of fact,....or of fiction.

You used the Majority as your source of confirmation, of what you believe. And I merely warn you against using this, as a way of deciding what is true or false.

But that's not what the vast majority of Christians over they ages has believed.---Cluny

(Matthew 22:14) Many are called...But few are chosen.
According to Jesus, what the majority believes, doesnt really matter.

CHRIST IN YOU Is GRACE. ---kathr4453

(Genesis 6:8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

If what you say, is Grace, Do you believe Noah had Christ living in him?

I believe common sense tells us what God STILL considers SIN regardless of what Covenant one is under.---kathr4453 on 11/25/19

Excellent point!!
Everyone seems to believe Jesus did away with the Law. When God merely changed it.

If sin is the transgression of the Law (1 John 3:4), wouldnt this mean anyone who sins, was under Gods Law? How could Adam and Eve have sinned, if there was no Law?

Even the angels, in heaven, are under Gods Law!!!
(2 Peter 2:4) For if God spared not the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment

Jesus says in John 6:54-55 " He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life....For my flesh is is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed." You believe he is speaking symbolic while I don't, whose interpretation is correct and why?---Ruben

Did the Lords disciples eat him at the last supper, or did Jesus, die on the cross?
The very fact, Jesus used bread and wine as a substitute for his body and blood, showed it to be symbolic.

Symbolic of what? Symbolic of a sacrifice, symbolic with one exception. The blood of a sacrifice was sprinkled, where we are to drink the blood of Christ. Why internally and not externally? (Matthew 23:26)

Everyone one here claims to be guide by the Holy Spirit, so how do you know which interpretation is correct?---Ruben on 11/24/19

Simply Measure what they say to be the Truth, with what Jesus taught. Dont be surprised, when you discover, most salvation teachings are the direct opposite of what Jesus taught.

God Bless President Trump
Trump, Clinton and Obama are sinners? Is that supposed to be news? I am going to go out on a limb here and say, every President we have ever had...was a sinner too.

Now I would like to make a confession, I too have sinned. And the Lord, has forgiven me for those sins. But this forgiveness does not give me the right to judge others for their sins. Do any of you have that right?

Just a friendly warning:
(Luke 6:37) Judge not, and ye shall not be judged. Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned. Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Its easy to get carried away in discussion in which we are emotionally involved...but be careful folks, careful you dont go too far.

WE (i.e. Christians) are not under the law, and yet it IS still possible to sin. ---StrongAxe

(Romans 4:15)...where there is no law, there is no transgression.

Do you still believe we can sin, where there is no Law?

Pauls meaning In (Romans 6:14-15), when reading the entire chapter.
Paul is directing this statement towards those who have died to sin...those who are no longer servants of sin (John 8:34).

They have died to sin, so they no longer serve under the Laws of omission (what we should not do) as described in (Matthew 19: 17-19), but under Grace, the Laws of Commission (what we should do) AKA, the Law of Christ.

Obama denounced Jeremiah Wright's controversial statements. .---StrongAxe

Well yeah, but only after Jeremiah Wrights teachings were made public, it was not before. If you remember, Obama also denounced Christmas, by forbidding the government from calling it Christmas. You must admit, that was a strange action for a Christian to take.

Trump embraces Paula White and her teachings, and he put her on WH staff.---StrongAxe

News to of yesterday. And it was very disturbing...very disturbing news for me to read. Very bad judgment on his part, but then again, many Christians are follow a false doctrine.

Just because they are called our leaders, doesnt mean we have to be their followers.

Church On Doctrines
Everyone who obeys Jesus' two commandments "Love God" and "Love your neighbor" ALREADY keeps the Commandments ANYWAY, so he doesn't need to be told each one in a list.---StrongAxe

I agree with you on Sabbath keeping, but I would like to correct you of one thing many seem to overlook. And I do so not to argue, but because its important.

Sin is the transgression of the Law. (1 John 3:4) And without the Law...there can be no sin.(Romans 5:13)

Here is a simple Yes or No question, for everyone who reads it.
If Jesus did away with the Law, as most doctrines teach, wouldnt that make it impossible to sin?

God Bless President Trump
First we had a president who followed Jeremiah Wright...and now one who follows Paula White. Too scary!!

How To Calculate 666
(Revelation 6: 12- Revelation 7:1) pared with (Matthew 24: 29-31) is very interesting read. In both we see the second coming of Christ, by two different writers.

What happens on the Earth after that...not good...not good at all!
Will any living person, besides those Jews sealed by God, be in the second resurrection?

How To Calculate 666
All I am saying about the Gentile believer, is that for right now, Jesus is the Christ, and they are not in search of a Christ as the Jews are. But, they will be fooled too.
How? For them....And Undeniable truth.

For the reason you mentioned. Since many look to the Jewish nation, when they proclaim their Christ, many gentile believers will believe them. He will fulfill the greatest prophecy of all the prophecies...the Prophecy of Jonah. The beast will appear to be dead, but after 3 days, he will appear to come back to life.

(Revelation 3:13) And I saw that one of his heads was, as it were, wounded to death, and.....his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the beast.
