Is Playing Bingo Wrong
---church is to be a house of prayer. "My House shall be a House of Prayer."
....We are to distinguish between Holy and common.

The temple which Jesus cleared is gone.

YOU are the temple
YOU are the house of prayer

A house made without hands.

That Building called a church, with its altars, so-called sanctuary, collecting tithes meant for a mockery of what Jesus accomplished on the cross

Who Are You Blessing Today
michael e,
why do you continually cite and quote only 4 verses in 1Corinthians 15 ???

Paul was telling them about the good news that he had already witnessed to them, and he strung together all the aspects o that good news with "AND"

And he didn't stop saying AND in the middle of verse 4, then jump to another letter.

I declare the good news that I proclaimed to you
that Christ died for our sins according to scripture
that He was buried
that He was raised on the third day
that He appeared to Cephas and the twelve

His appearing to the disciples was part of the good news that Paul proclaimed, so why do you omit it?

Baptism Needed For Salvation
\\Jesus also fulfilled the Law, did he do that so you wouldn't have to live in obedience to God?

(Matthew 5:17)
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.\\
---David on 2/6/11

David, if you keep reading Matt 5, you might see that Jesus said whoever relaxes a commandment will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven.

We are not bound to a list of rules and regulations. That amounts to legalism.
