Voice In The Wilderness
mima said: "There is no salvation in repentance(a change of mind) repentance is a condition that precedes(comes before) salvation."

Repentance is at the very core of salvation! If we are not constantly turning away from sin and turning toward God, then walking down the aisle to repent once is not going to make it. We are called to theosize--that is, to become more like Christ every day, and that only comes in the daily repentences of our walk with Christ.

Can Pastor Curse Me
Leave. It is just that simple. Find yourself a good pre-Reformation Church and you won't hear sermons about how someone is going to be cursed for talking about the minister. Instead, you will get the simple truth--a way to life every day of your life on earth, and all of eternity in Heaven

False Teacher Tactics
Of course, if you know you're being hypnotized, it isn't very subtle, is it. If you don't like it, leave.

How To Punish My ExHusband
Eloy said: No, God showed to me the future Judgment Day, precisely that time when it was her turn to come up and stand before the Great White Throne. My Lord was sitting upon his throne and I was with him. She looked up to my Lord, and I pointed at her and said, "She Took." And her mouth dropped and her eyes widened and she was not able to bring any word for her unrepented sin. And thereby I witnessed her condemnation and nonacceptance into the Kingdom of heaven. God will not let sin into heaven, else she corrupt holy heaven as she did those on earth."

Eloy, neither will God allow spiritual delusion. Think about it!

Made Holy By Our Faith
Reba said: "...The old man will remain-- meaning the sin nature is always going to be there... The old man is dead--meaning we have victory over death, hell & the grave..."

Reba, you can't have it both ways, either the old man is dead or he is alive. If he is dead, then we are a new man. True, we still have temptations, but we are called to overcome them.

However, if the old man is alive, and still with us, then we are lost, because we are called to be perfect, as our heavenly Father is perfect.

Which do you want? Personally, I am dead to sin, and the old man was buried in Baptism. What came up out of the water was that new creation.

Ark Of The Covenant
Andy said: "Blogmeister, never heard about this theory. if true then the claims of the first King must have been true as well, question remains, why would Solomon give away the most sacred object to anyone who's not Jew?"

When the Queen of Sheba visited Solomon, she conceived a child by him, named Menelek. She also brought back to Ethiopia a form of Judaism. When the Assyrians came to conquer Judah, the Ark was sent away for safe keeping to the only other Jewish Royal Family that existed, the one in Ethiopia. It has been there ever since.

Reba said: "The old man will remain until we die. The new man is Christ/Holy Spirit that comes to live within you. So the new man is not us but Christ.

You are proving my point! The old man, with all his vices is dead--just as dead as Jesus was on the Cross--now if the old man is dead, how can he be living? Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. That means that the old man is dead! How can the old man live with Christ?

Romans 6:4
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Are you saying that Christ does not live in me? Or in you?

What Makes Something Biblical
Okay, I will take a crack at this. Anyone who is reading this from a computer (instead of parchment or papyrus) is doing something non-Biblical (including myself!)

There are millions of things that are not written in the Bible, and to take the extreme view, anyone who uses a computer is a sinner (including myself) because there is no mention of computer chips, circuit boards, vacuum tubes or even electricity!

Think! The Bible is a great book, and a great tool. However, seeing as how the last book in the Bible is 1900 years old, or so, then some concepts are dated. What is important is what the Bible says, and not what it doesn't say.

Ark Of The Covenant
The Ark of the Covenant is hidden in a small monastery in Axum in Ethiopia. One priest guards it and will not allow anyone even to enter the chapel grounds, much less to peer beyond the curtains and see it.

I know that that claim sounds Catholic, but most competent archeologists and historians agree. Look up Axum on Google and see

Embrace The Evolution Myth
Warwick said: "Blogmeister, what you have written about is speciation or adaptation and it is the opposite of the the NeoDarwinian evolution. Adaptation to changing conditions 'selects' certain creatures which have features which confer survival value. It 'selects' from what is already there in reality deleting genetic information from the genome.

For one kind of creature to evolve into a completely different kind of creature massive amounts of new specific genetic information is needed How can this arise by naturalistic (as opposed to supernatural)causes? Not from adaptation."

That is MY point. I said that Darwin was wrong, and that his hypotheses was not provable, therefor not a theory.

Made Holy By Our Faith
Reba said: "I believe the only thing that makes us Holy is the blood of Christ covering our sins. Without that even our righteous deeds would be filthy rags in God's sight.Isa.64:6. We can never hope to measure up without that. It's Christ covering that makes us acceptable. Nothing more."

Does that mean that the old sinful man is still there, just disguised by the Blood of Christ, like a child wearing a sheet and believing he is invisible?

What about the old sinful man being crucified with Christ and buried with Him?

Either I am a new creation or a pile of debris--which is it?

Made Holy By Our Faith
RichardC said: "GALATIANS 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, BUT BY THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST..."
Just look at this for a minute--If Jesus doesn't have faith WE don't get saved? He came to save the whole world, and His faith is perfect. Therefore, we are all saved, even the crazy that shot that Congresswomen in Arizona! Try rather faith IN Jesus Christ--an act of OUR faith. That is what saves us!

Embrace The Evolution Myth
Evolution is simply an ordered form for living organisms. It shows that an organism goes from a simpler form to a more complex form by adapting (that is the correct spelling, btw) to changes in the environment.

Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" spells out a way that any environment will eventually be dominated by the fittest. However, this hypothesis has a few holes in it, as it does not recognize the actions of God.

Note, I do not call it a theory--it is simply a hypothesis. He never provided a proof that man came from a lower species of ape.

Posting To Blogs Is Ministry
Most of the time I feel that these blogs are simply wasting my time, and I don't spend a whole lot of time here. Better to spend an hour in prayer than to spend an hour on ChristiaNet

Sorry Moderator, but they asked. Ask me something more important.

Do You Follow Jesus
Jerry said:Glory to the REAL Jesus Christ!

So who is this real Jesus Christ? There is only one that I know of, the One that was born of a virgin, that is the 2nd Person of the Trinity that existed before the beginning of time. He was crucified for our sake, died, was buried, rose from the dead, and will come again
Which Jesus Christ are you talking about?

Who Can Baptize People
The proper answer is that normally, deacons, priests and bishops are the only ones that may legitimately baptize. However, in case of an emergency, where the person to be baptized is in extreme danger of losing his life, then any baptized Christian can baptize, using the formula: "I baptize you in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
