Will We Know People In Heaven
I do believe we will know our loved ones and friends in someway in Heaven! But, of course I don't know how God has plans for us to make that connection to them. But I do believe we will know them.

Can God Have A God
When my kids became teenagers and wanted real answers, I read and re-read the gospels to see who Christ was. I realized then the "trinity" is more of a theory or explanation to harmonize scripture rather than reality. I'm not sure any of us completely understands, but I become increasingly convinced that Christ did have a real father and son type relationship with God the Father and that he was not praying to himself, not sending himself to minister and atone, etc. I don't claim to know all the answers, but it is time that we realize that just as the pharisees built up false traditions that corrupted God's church prior to Christ, that perhaps man has somewhat corrupted things since.

How Do I Make The Pain Stop
The pain you are experiencing is intense. My husband told me he was having an affair. Sometimes your over welmed with rage trying to figure out how you can make them hurt like you. Ask God to help you see your spouse through HIS eyes. Study God's Word. Find out all you can on the Love of God & forgiveness. My marriage may end but, I am determined to forgive & love my husband and I know I can only do this because truley I'm seeing him through God's eyes. God doesnt love the sin but He does love my husband and wants to forgive him as HE has forgiven me. Turn to God always and obey His instructions. He will give you peace & sustain you. Luke 6:27 - 38 & Romans 12:17-21.

Friend Becoming A Mormon
I'm interested Laurie as to how you interpret the scriptures, can you please explain:
1. Christ said he was SENT by the Father?
2. Christ said he DID NOT COME TO DO HIS OWN WILL, BUT THE WILL OF HIS FATHER. Requiring seperate and differing wills?
3. Christ says he is THE SON. No person or thing we know of is its own son.
4. Christ says no man knows the timing of the end,not even the son, but only the Father. Requiring God and Christ to have different knowledge.
5. Christ prays to his Father (both secretly and publicly).
6. Stephen sees Christ at God the Father's right hand. Requires different location and different bodies.

It is no more blasphemous to say that god created Satan, than to say God created all the spirits of men and angels and that one of those angels turned towards the evil. Mormons are not trinitarians. They literally believe that when Christ was showing us how to pray to our Father in Heaven, that he was likewise praying to his/our father - in other words that all mankind is spiritually a brother with Christ. This may seem odd to those who have been raised and endlessly tutored to believe a trinitarian concept, but to those who clear their minds of man made creeds and their own biases will see that the new testment supports the Mormon, non-trinitarian view.

As to why Mormons use the King James Version, all it would take is a little honest research. Mormons have always used the King James Version. This version was a dominant version used in the new england states where the mormon church was founded. It was believed by early church members to be the most correct english version available to them and so they used it. You act like everything in the mormon church, as well as some of the other churches you attack, has some ulterior motive. I do not suppose this of most other people or religions. I'm sorry if your past experience has so hardened you towards your fellowmen that you cannot accept that there are good hearted, honest people in religions that just happen to disagree with you.

I too talked with my parents and others about my beliefs. But how we do it, often shows that our belief system is less about Christ and more about ourselves. Wouldn't a true follower of Christ love his neighbor. I think it is no chance thing that Christ used a samaritan to show us who was loving his neighbor and how. Everytime I hear supposed Christians (even if they be mormons) speak in unloving ways, I can't help but feel that they are following their own egotistical feelings, not the gospel of Christ that teaches of love, charity, turning the other cheek, etc. Its not that I haven't had these selfish feelings myself, but I truly try to push my selfishness aside and be a better person.

We can have differences and discuss them without losing our love for our fellow men. Over 20 years ago, as a teenager, I joined the Mormon church. My parents claimed to be Catholics, but never attended church, but still, they were not happy about my decision to become a mormon. They still showed me in everyway that they loved me. As my two younger sisters, followed in my footsteps, my parents actually began trying to find out more about my beliefs. Now that I am married and have children of my own, I appreciate my parents even more. They still claim to be catholics, but their love, acceptance and support of me, my husband and family have been unfailing. I see there love not as a conditional love, but a christ-like eternal love.

How To Glorify God
Start learning doctrine daily from your right pastor-teacher, just as the apostles did from the Lord Jesus Christ. Then apply this doctrine to your life.

Are Mormons Christians
Andrea:The question is "Are Mormons Christians?".It's not a matter of whether Joseph Smith was infallible, but whether Mormons believe in Christ and his teachings. I will not argue with athiests that want to point out all the historical problems with the bible or its internal contradictions, nor will I argue about everything that Joseph Smith is reported to have said. I don't expect anyone or anything to be perfect except God. I worship God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, not Joseph Smith.

Spouse Has No Passion
**how do you deal with the frustration and sadness?**

You see sister, this where you get it wrong. You don't deal with the frustration and sadness. God does. In fact you must not be sad and frustrated because your spouse is not what you want him/her to be. It is God's responsibility. Your spouse was created by God and only He has ultimate responsibility over him. Yours is only to pray for him and trust God to do what He wants to do in him and any time He chooses to do it.

Spouse Has No Passion
Very easy. Be patient. Read 1 Corinthians 13 - Love is patient... love doesn't demand its way ... Be sad and frustrated only with yourself, not with with others simply because they are not what you want them to be!

Is the Prosperity Gospel Biblical
Of course it goes without saying - I mean if you really read the Bible you wouldn't ask this. Read John 10:10, 3rd John 1:2 etc. Jesus came for the total person - prosperity of the human spirit, soul and body. He is not a lopsided God many religious people take Him to be. He became poor so that you might become rich (2 Cor. 8:9). His purpose is to make you prosperous in every way so that you might do great works (2 Cor. 9:8).

Are All Sins Equal To God
Look at the category of sinners God's word says will not go to heaven:
"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God" - Galatians 5:19-21, NIV.

How Soon Before The Rapture
what rapture?

Against Women Preachers
Pastor_Herb - what's the scriptural basis of your assertion that it is not the woman's place to pastor a church or run for president?

Where Do We Go After Death
*how do you "know" that this is Jesus' teaching? there's no record of Luke ever meeting Jesus*

Because Jesus did not meet Luke, so what Luke wrote is wrong! When you read such faulty reasoning and logic, then I agree with you someone is truly misguided!

Tongues In The Spirit
*What Pentecostals experience is bio-chemical, the release of endorphines into the bloodstream*

I think you're right to misunderstand these things, since you reason naturally. The Bible says "the natural person doesnt accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he can't understand it, because it is judged spiritually" (2 Cor. 2:14). So a natural person like you is simply too incompetent and ignorant to understand the things of God. God bless you.
