Belief In Dispensationism
Kathr/Ralph, you continue to deceive as before. If you deceive by name, how can anything you say be creditable?
---MarkV. on 11/20/09

Sir, I do not know what your problem is. Is the problem truth? Have I lied and changed the truth?

Do you have any scripture to accuse me of deceiving you by altering the truth of our scriptures? Scripture speaks for itself. Take it or leave it.

Have I ever offended you? I believe you stated at another time you have no argument with me. Now why do you continually make trouble when we are discussing our Lord?

If I may suggest, are you Bobby1? It would appear as though Bobby1 shows up only to accuse as you do.

Why are either of you here?

Belief In Dispensationism
Rod4Him, Why do you want to fight about the details? This I do not know why.
No one came to perfection in the Old testament. Only In Christ, and Christ in us can anyone be made perfect.

Hebrews 10:1
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

Hebrews 7:19
For the law made nothing perfect.
Hebrews 11:40
God having provided some better thing for us, that they( OT SAINTS) without us should not be made perfect.

Belief In Dispensationism

Rod4Him, The scriptures tell us exactly what the Mystery is. Christ in you. This will also answer Samuel's reply. Grace is Christ in you. No one had Christ in them or came to perfection in Christ in the Old Testament.

Colossians 1:26-28

26Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Paul speaks of Covenants New and Old. But you say here no one was saved under the Law of Moses. Which means everyone from Moses on down is lost. Do you really believe that?
---Samuel on 11/17/09

Samuel, please review Hebrews 11 concerning our Saints of Old. Can you find one person listed where any reference is given to teh Law of Moses?

Belief In Dispensationism
(1) God has always been a God of grace.
(2) The mystery is that the gospel is offered to the gentiles.
(3) Correct me if I misunderstood you, but "called Grace" has the implication that this "age" is one of many others.Rod4Him on 11/16/09

Rod4Him, It is one of many others.

No.(1) No one was saved by Grace in the Old Testament. They were saved by Faith. We are saved by Grace through faith in His death and resurrection.

No.(2) It was never a Mystery that Gentiles would be saved. That was given to Abraham way back in Genesis. So we know this can not be a mystery that was kept secret.

No one in the OT had Christ in them, The Mystery.

Can A Drunk Get Saved
"By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace" Because God saved Rahab from the destruction of Jericho, does not mean that God condoned her past sexual sins. Because Peter called Lot righteous does not mean that Lot was perfect.

Peters statements about Lots righteousness is similar to how Noah was surrounded by a sea of iniquity 2 Peter 2:5, Lot was surrounded by extremely wicked, filthy, lawless citizens of Sodom.

Lot was far from perfect, but he was not a wicked man. Lot separated himself from the unlawfulness of the inhabitants of Sodom and was even tormented "day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds" 2 Peter 2:8.

The Mystery Revealed:
if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery

Romans 16:25-27

25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began

26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

We live in the dispensation of Christ in you, called Grace.

Belief In Dispensationism
A common belief among dispensationalist is that the dispensations of law and grace represent alternative means of salvation. This belief is based, in part, on some of the notes in the Scofield Reference Bible.
---MarkV. on 11/14/09

MarkV: Your understanding of Dispensationalist is grossly wrong. A Dispensationalist knows the difference between Law and Grace. The old dispensation of law is void. No one was saved under the Law of Moses. A New dispensation we have arrived. We are now in the dispensation of the spirit. Paul most definitely uses dispensations in his teachings. Pay attention.

And please stop accusing me of being Kathr. It would appear you would do anything to avoid answering the question.

Can Salvation Be Lost?
Markv: No, my name is Ralph.

I would like to conclude with the one and only same thought form Titus 2:

WHY are we saved:

11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world,

13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ,

14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

When Did Sin Enter World
To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

While I stand firm on Num.30:6-8. God didn't have Foreknowledge of Adam disallowing anything while he was sinless, which makes my comment speculation and I REPENT of it, as well as REBUKE all speculation.

---Shawn.M.T on 10/8/09

Shawn, did God then have foreknowledge of Adam disallowing anything AFTER he was sinful.

Do we speak with forked tongue?

Can Salvation Be Lost?
----The Bible says those who were saved were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world. So whoever He chose, was redeemed because of His sovereign choice. ---MarkV. on 10/19/09

Now I understand why you went a ranting on another blog site. God's Eternal Covenant of the Lamb slain, was His promise of FORGIVNESS.

Titus 1:1-3 nowhere state Limited Atonement for only certain people.

Paul concludes in Titus 2:11 11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus 1:1 the Faith of the Elect are the faithful of God's Elect who preach the Good News to ALL for ALL! Verse 3.

When Did Sin Enter World
Thank you Ralph! I really need the encouragement. Especially since I am constantly being falsely accused.
Shawn asked me to cut and paste so I did.
Now he is beating me up for it.---miche3754 on 10/19/09

miche3754, these are thugs we will always see lurking around ready to jump. Shawn, Morgan, who I believe to be MarkV are not leaders. Their behavior testifies to this. They can point their fingers all they want at others, yet have no idea how others view them. They are too wrapped up in themselves to see this is the behavior of flesh, carnality, and disqualification to become a vessel of honor fit for the masters use.

May God Bless and keep you always in His Truth.

When Did Sin Enter World
1 Corinthians 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began,

John 3:16
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

God so loved the world HE GAVE, past tense, His only Begotten Son.
We know John 3:16 (spoken before Christs death and resurrection) testifies to the Lamb Already Given by promise before the foundation of the world for the forgiveness of sin for ALL.

.... and stop dredging-up these irrelevant things from other Blogs that are not edifying to this Blog .... !
---Shawn.M.T. on 10/16/09

Shawn, as long as you continue to make false accusations against others, not address this to Morgan, who is bring up from other blogs she never participated in to begin with, and who fail to see Kathr's first reply to you was in the context of your mis-guided "disallow" ing theology, which would in fact overthrow the whole plan of atonement God forordained from before the foundation of the world. Kathr's reply was to that fact alone.

You, however did not jump on the wagon of these rantings until you saw an escape to wiggle out, through MarkV's rantings.

When Did Sin Enter World
Titus 1
1Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began,

Shawn, The Lamb who is Christ infact forordained BEFORE the foundation of the world, and the revelation of that truth was MANIFEST in these last days, Paul calls the Mystery. 1st Peter 1:20. Christ was not manifest, but the mystery of God's plan before the foundation of the world, the slain lamb was.

You and I as Gentiles are and have never been under the LAW of Moses. Romans 1-5...and you will see those in the beginning of Romans were condemned W/O the law of Moses.

When Did Sin Enter World
Miche, You do understand God has Foreknowledge of everything that would happen before He Spoke Creation into Existence and He had Chosen BTFOTW to Predestinate whom He did Foreknow to be CONFORMED to His Son's Image : which from our point of view is Whomsoever ?? Rom.8:29-30

It's more like the cart was assured before sending out the horse. Eph.l:4-12
---ShawnM.T. on 10/12/09

Shawn, are you saying the cart=humanity was assured BEFORE the Horse= Jesus Lamb?

Yet you call Kathr a heretic for reminding you that the HORSE =Jesus/the Lamb, was forordained before, 1st Peter 1:20.

Or are you saying you existed before God's plan of redemption? Or are you saying God saw you, but NOT in the LAMB?

When Did Sin Enter World
There's no doubt Eve's transgression of disobedience was sin, but it was not imputed to her until the Law entered which wasn't til after Adam ate of the tree of Knowledge.

This helps us to understand how Christ is able to keep us from having sin imputed again us once we're Saved through His Blood & free from the Law. Rom.8:1-3
---ShawnM.T. on 10/15/09

Shawn, Romans 5, the law was brough in that sin would abound, showing God's chosen, they too were sinners, and with that God then pronounce ALL have sinned. Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds.

If you understood Romans 5,you would see the emphasis is on death,(not LAW), passing to all from Adam's transgression, and Life out of death came by Jesus Christ.

Adam's Choice To Sin
Shawn, you seem to be confused here. The Lamb Slain and Works finished were/are God's Plan from before the foundation of the world.

We know the Lamb was not slain AT the foundation of the world either.

Kathr did not claim any such thing or that anyone existed before the foundation of the world. I have read many of her entries, where she believes anyone who does claim such things are as the Mormons.

Please stop using flattery with me as an excuse to slander another. I'm also not impressed with your behavior here on line in your replies to others.

As one who didn't understand from the beginning, making an error in sound doctrine, you still have not received a clear understanding to date.

Adam's Choice To Sin
Eph. 1:4,5, "Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will"

God predestined(PLANNED), BEFORE the foundation of the world, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.

The Good pleasure of HIS WILL again reiterated this was God's plan before the foundation of the world. As Kathr pointed out, Jesus was not plan B.

The emphasis: GOD'S PLAN,PURPOSE,WILL. You did not exist before the foundation, God's Plan did.
