Christ's Linen Napkin

John 20:7 indicates the grave clothes were cast aside, this would seem to indicate that Jesus conquered death, and through His death and resurrection and ability to forgive sin, we also will conquer death. Conversely in John 11:44 Lazarus was raised from the dead, but his grave clothes were still binding him, hand to foot, and his face was still covered with the 'napkin.' Though raised from death, Lazarus was still in grave clothes and subject to death, (unlike Christ). By this miracle, Christ proved to all who were willing to believe that He was truly the Son of God.

Too Much Christian Hypocrisy

Hi Jerry,
I think I kinda know what you mean. I'm not sure if I see hypocrisy or not, but sometimes I've notices some people in church seem distant and maybe not so friendly, but at work where I think the majority is unsaved they seem to be warmer and friendly. I don't know why that is.

Will Crazy People Be In Heaven

Even tho my son is mentally handicapped, he still puts his hands together and asks mom to pray, loves to go to church and I believe he has accepted Christ in HIS own way. Mentally he is about 4 years old and yet almost 21 years old. For those so severly handicapped, I believe God will accept them into the Kingdom.

How Do I Figure Out What I Believe

Hi Jack,
The book of Ephesians tells us that God can open up the eyes of our understanding. Seek and you shall find - knock and it shall be opened unto you. The Lord loves you and longs to show Himself real to you and strong in your behalf. Bow your heart before Him. Read His Word and ask HIM to show you. He will - He wants you to know truth and will come to you in ways that you will reconize that it is He Himself in answer to your heart's cry.

I Have Feelings Of Hate Toward God

Please let me explain something.I love my brother, I was a minister and yes God did take him, he told me he was going to but I brushed it to the side. Until you have walked in my shoes don't condemn me. You are telling me not to hate God, but he knows my heart.

My Pastor And His Wife Are Worldly

Cathy, pray and ask God to release you from there. Sometimes God has already released us and we just stay in a place out of guilt. Please pray and listen to God speak to you!! Also, if you are there it maybe for a reason

No Women Since My Heart Attack

I know how you feel. I'm disabled with Fibromyalgia, good days & really painful days. I'm 57 & haven't dated in 14 yrs. It's taught me much needed humility & given me the opportunity to really know God. He provides me with everything I need & more because I know that He is all I need. When he thinks I'm ready, He'll put that soul mate before me. Pray and be patient. God loves you.
