Catholics Believe In Jesus
Eloy, not only have you shown me no evidence of the word spirit used as a metaphor anywhere in scripture to mean "symbolic", you also still haven't addressed Jesus' use of the word "trogo" for eat.

The Lord knew the language well and he used these words for a reason, Eloy.

Is The Pope Perfect
"No he is certainly not perfect and I have never met anyone else who is. The popes are going to have a tough time before God. I'm ready for your attacks now. Please forgive if I do not respond as I am through with visiting this blog(boring).:)"

Straw man arguments bore me to tears too. ,)

Mother Teresa Not Close To God
"Lk2:37* & then as a widow until she was eighty-four.She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting & prayer night & day.*(ESV)"

Shelia, if that were the case then fasting is worship as well, and, of course it isn't since many people fast strictly for health reasons.

The dictionary is very clear on both words.

Saved In A False Church
3. "And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste? For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.

4. But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her."

(Matt 26:6-13)

Tony writes: "I come from a place most RCC are not. I was raise 25 years devout, 12 years RCC school. Same nun teachers as my father, Mass 6 days a week."

Tony, you're not the exception, you're the rule. LOL The majority of former Catholics converts were just like you.

I notice you didn't mention reading & studying the bible though. Did you know this is the other thing all of you have in common, Tony? ,o

Catholics Believe Mary Was Sinless
"How could Jesus save Mary from "falling in the ditch of sin" when she lived much of her life long before Jesus was even conceived?"
---Mark on 8/25/07

Mark, the same way she could call Him her Saviour when He was unborn in her womb.

Holly4JC writes: "It just makes me so angry at how the devil has all the people in the RCC deceived with all these lies and fantasies."

Why would God giving His Son a mother who is pure and free of sin make you angry?

Do Catholics Know History
"Jesus is the Rock always. God is very clear he will share his glory with no one."

We aren't talking about His glory, we're talking about His authority.

2. "Jesus being the cornerstone is Jesus being the rock - what do you think a corner"stone" is?"

Historically, a cornerstone was the corner piece and part of a foundation that was first laid. It is not the base nor the entire foundation. It is only part of it, yet still a structurally significant part. The bible is clear that the church is built on the foundation (base) of the apostles and the prophets with Jesus being the cornerstone. (Eph 2:20)
