Islam At War With Christians
Romans 12:14-18, "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Dove World Outreach Koran
Could someone tell me just what they specificaly hope to accomplish with this action?

The scripture that comes to mind is:
Romans 12:14-18, "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not... Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil... If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

Obama Bows To Muslims

For the same reason one bows to the Queen of England?

Are Hindus In Heaven
I'll remind you what you said:
sinuous comes from the word sin, meaning disobedient, wrong, crooked, unright, etc. Sinuous is the opposite of righteous

You cannot find this in any dictionary.
I challenge you to find this in any dictionary. Please prove me wrong.

This is just another example of your inconsistency and how you cannot admit you are wrong about anything.

Online Etymology Dictionary:
Meaning: "full of turns and curves," 1578, from Latin. sinuosus "full of folds or bendings," and originaly from the Latin root "sinus" meainng "curve, fold, bend."

Are Hindus In Heaven
Certainly sinuous could be used to describe a serpent. So could lots of other words. Long, slithery, scaly, cold blooded, etc. None of these words, including sinuous, has anything to do with sin.

Eloy insists that the word comes from "sin". He never has/cannot admit he is wrong even when faced with a preponderance of evidence from a multitude of reference sources. Not one of which has sinuous as coming from or having anything to do with "sin". According to Dictionairy dot Com:Origin: `1570-80, < Latin sinusus.Synonyms: 1. curving, meandering, twining, twisting, coiled, curved, serpentine. 2. roundabout.

Are Tongues For Today
1 Corinthians 14:4-5, "He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself, but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongues...,"

Serve Satan Backwards
I suggest that before anyone take this too seriously, they check out the clip from teh show for themself.

Clearly says "serve Satan"? Not hardly. It is any thing but clear. What nonsense this is when people go to such lengths to prove their conspiriacy theories. I don't mean you Mima, you are just telling us what was on TV. I mean the people who come up with this stuff.

Excellent point Alan.

Satan Or Holy Spirit
"I agree with you, it was verbally."

Of course it was "registering" in her mind. That goes without saying. However, the question asks does Satan put thoughts into our minds? How many people who believe that Satan puts thoughts "into" their minds have a litteral conversation with him?

Clearly the question is asking if Satan can put thoughts directly into the mind - not using speech - as the Holy Spirit can.

My point about Eve's temptation was that it was external not internal so to speak.

Simarily, David's temptation was external through his eyes.

Satan Or Holy Spirit
"two forces upon this earth..."

"Temptation, lust, sin, etc., all came in when the fall happened..."

Thus sin came into the world
True - and the pivotal point here.

Every person since is born with a sinful nature. We do not need a tempter to sin. Eph 2:3, "the lusts of our flesh...the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."

Without question there is no shortage of temptation all around us but we do not need a tempter to sin. James 1:14, "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed."

Satan Or Holy Spirit

Consider the Millennial Reign of Christ. Satan is in the pit for 1000 years yet there is still rebellion against Christ's rule. When Satan is finally released there are enough rebellious persons for him to raise up a great army for one final battle. 1000 years, no tempter yet men are still sinful.

Is Satan real? Certainly. Is there external temptation? Tons. Can he communicate directly with the mind of a Christian through some sort of mind control? Absolutely not. The Holy Spirit in me is not going to let Satan have his way with my mind. 1 John 4:4, "greater is he that is in you..."

1 John 5:18, "...he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."

I can tell from your context what you think the word means. My question is, Where do you find it defined as such in a dictionary? I cannot find it. Perhaps I did not look hard enough but it seems to be a word you made up.

None of the 12 places where I can find "sinuous" defined have any connection to sin.

It means curving, graceful, wiggly, having curves, the ratio of height to length of a wave, having rounded angles etc. Nothing about sinfulness.

Since you are so insistent on the proper use of words please tell us where it is defined as sinful, other than in your mind.

Satan Or Holy Spirit

"Satan drives people and puts thoughs into their mind like he did Eve, "Hath God really said? you shall surely die?" "

Satan did not put thoughts "into" Eve's mind. He spoke to her verbly. Genesis 3:1, "...And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

They had a litteral conversation.

Baptized The Same Day
"the Lord must born of WATER(baptised)"

I'll never understand why, when someone's idea contradicts or is different from the plain, contextual meaning, they insist on putting their own spin on what is so plainly laid out in scripture and promote their own idea.

John 3 is a discussion about the comparison of natural childbirth - water. (We are carried in a sac of water in the womb.) and being born "from above" (literal translation) or a spiritual (second) birth.

This has nothing to do with water baptism.

Read it in context and do not apply preconceived notions of the, so called, "necessity" of water baptism and you will have its very plain meaning.

Disapproving Of Tongue Speaking

They recieved the Holy Spirit in the upper room when Jesus "breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost" John 20:22

They recieved the subsequent baptism in the Holy Spirit that John spoke of (Matt 3:11)and Jesus promised Acts 1:5

Satan Or Holy Spirit

"If not, how did satan move on Judas to get him to betray Judas? How did he move on King David to commit adultery?"

James makes it clear the source of internal temptation.

James 1:14-15, "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

David saw and continued to watch Bathsheba bathing. He lusted and acted on that lust. Satan does not deserve any credit for David's sin.

Judas' avarice got the better of him.

In either case, neither of these men were indwelt by the Spirit of God like we are today.

Seeker Friendly Churches Biblical
Define "seeker friendly".

If we get rid of pews in favour of more comfortable seating, have coffee brewing and allow people to take their coffee with them into the meeting, get rid of dress codes, use projected songs instead of the hymnal etc., is that seeker friendly? None of these things affect the message.

Baptized The Same Day

In the ancient world, baptism was a public declaration of allegiance to a particular group. The baptism of John, for example, was a "baptism of promise" that made the public declaration "I repent of my sin and when the Messiah comes, I will follow him." Acts 19, "...John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. "

The baptism of converts was a continuation of this public declaration. Common in that day and age and still relevant today.

Since you are being so picky about correct grammar and spelling, could you please define this word: "sinuous" (as in: "the Bible refers to as: the cursed, the sinuous, the unregenerate,") and tells us where you get your definition from?
