Are There Unsaved Christians

That's an oxymoron. A Christian believes Jesus is God's Son, he died and rose to pay for our sin. The only way we receive the gift Ephesians 2:8,9 of salvation is repenting Mark 1:15 Luke 13:3,5 believing in Jesus as Saviour John 14:6, Acts 4:12. Some people believe Jesus was a good teacher, just a man, but not God John 1:1,9-14, who became flesh to die for our sins Romans 5:8. They don't believe the word of God. Some people don't know, and others just reject what the Bible says about Jesus.

Where Was Jesus For 3 Days

Jesus was in paradise at least part of the time. Luke 23:43
1Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 4:6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the fesh, but live according to God in the spirit. Ephesian 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led cpaptivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. continued

Isaiah 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Acts 2:27, 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Hell, a place of torment and Abraham's bosom, paradise. When Jesus died many saints rose from the dead Matthew 27:52-53. When Jesus assended, I think he may have taken the resurrected saints and paradise with him to heaven. Luke 16:19-26

Message As Reading The Blogs

I think I misread the blog question. I was thinking you were asking if we ever receive a message about a person who comments on a blog. Now I think are you asking, do we ever get thoughts about a blog concerning someone on the blog. You should clearify the blog question. The more I read it, the more confused I get.

Message As Reading The Blogs

The Holy Spirit speaks to us convicting or impressing upon our Spirit in thoughts. This should be based on scripture and or Godly counsel.
The thoughts I have had about someone on the blogs are usually: Are they saying what is right according to scripture? Are they confusing the issue of the blog? Are they just being a know-it-all? Is the motive of their comments, to share the gospel? Are they kind and truthful?

I associate the term receiving messages with mental illness.

Mrs.Morgan, I don't think the Holy Spirit, that dwells within believers, would allow them blaspheme him. Mark 3:28-29, Roman 8:9, 1Cor3:12-17 12:3.
While it is important to try the spirits, what you are doing seems close to accusing the brethren of blaspheme of the HS and not being Christians.1John 4:1-3
As far as "Those who support OSAS, don't want to give up something..." posted 9/19/06. You don't know what others want or think unless they tell you. 1Cor 2:15

Elder, Thank you. I was wondering if that verse was referring to physical death. I plan read more. Some of the teachings here are confusing.

Elder, I am so glad you are here. What you wrote is the truth from scripture in context, while giving in to account who it was said to and what time it was written about. Would you explain Ezekiel 18:4? As I indicated before, that chapter was concerning Israel. Cross referrence is Romans 6:23.

Mrs.Morgan, God dealt differently with Israel in the OT (before Christ came), than he dealt with NT people living while Christ was on earth and after. The OT (Old Covenant) is different than the NT (New Covenant). Mat 26:28, Mark 14:24, Luke 22:20, 1Cor 11:25, 2Cor 3:6,13,14, Hebrews 6:18-20, 7:14-28 vs22 By so much was Jesus made surety of a better testament. Hebrews 9:1-28

Mrs. Morgan, Israel and another people, before Christ came to earth, were saved by God's grace and mercy through repentance and believing in God. They obeyed God because they believed in Him. They looked forward to the Messiah. The people who lived when Jesus was on earth and after are saved by God's grace and mercy through repentance and believing Jesus has come. When Jesus died and rose there were no more sacrifices. Jesus said it is finished. John 19:30

Romans 6:1-23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
8:1-16 vs 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
A believer's body dies when they serve sin, but the spirit is still saved. Our bodies are changed at the resurection. The sinful body doesn't go to heaven. 1Cor 15:42-56
In Ezekiel 18:4,20 soul might be referring to body.

Romams 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be save from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the alonement.

Mrs. Morgan, Ezekiel 18:1-32 is written to the house of Israel.
I really wish you would quit accusing those of us who believe in OSAS as false teachers. Quite frankly your teaching does not seem all true according to scripture taken in context.

1Cor 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire: and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built there upon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Jhonny, How long does this supposed process take? What happens if you die before the process is over.
The Bible tells we are saved by grace through faith, believing in Jesus and repenting. Matthew 4:17 Mark 1:15 Luke 13:3,5 Acts 2:38 3:19 Ephesians 2:1-10
Good works come after we are saved, not making us more saved, but it stengthtens our faith and we receive rewards.
Jesus Christ did the work on the cross. 1Corinthians 15:3,4
Jesus died for our sins. Galatians 1:3,4 Hebrews 1:2,3

Jhonny, Jesus is God. John 1:18 vs 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld he glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father.)full of grace and truth. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Eloy, "Plainly, only the New Testament Holy Writ from God is our perfect guide of truth". Then you go on to quote an Old Testament verse, Isaiah 8:20.

Jhonny, being saved or being born again (John 3:3-8) is not a process. It is like being pregnant. You either are or are not. It also becomes more noticable and evident. The diference is eternal life is just that, it is eternal. From the time we repent and believe in Jesus as Saviour, we are saved. At that time we are spiritually reborn and have eternal life (John 3:15-16). We grow in faith by reading the Bible and it helps us fight the temptations (Eph.6:10-18).

Rebecca, Mat 10 Jesus is talking to the twelve disciples, and is sending them out on a mission to the lost sheep of Israel. He warns them that they would suffer persecution. We are to tell others about Christ too.
I trust God for my salvation, not anything I do. We receive rewards for works. The saved are sealed by the HS, kept by the power of God, held in the Father's hands, given eternal life when we believe in Jesus. Don't you believe these promises written by inspiration of the HS. Titus 1:2

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Peter 1:3-5 Blessed by the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,Who are kept by the power God through fath unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
