The Sabbath, technically, is a moral law...per the dictionary "of, pertaining to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong" Anything going against God's Law is sin, since the Sabbath is part of that Law, I'd say that the Sabbath Command is a distinction between right and wrong.

Part3. As for the bulding a fire post earlier, if you reread Exodus 35:2-3, you would see that the Bible explicitly mentions "do no work" then mentions the building of fire. This is because it's talking of industrial fires, for work purposes, not to keep warm in winter. I have no "college level studies", but I'll back up what these people are saying, because they're right, they may not be able to rattle off scriptures like some, but that doesnt make them wrong.
