How can ancestors not deduce their huge advantages, gained by oppression, which continued until a few years ago? How can one be blind to the advantage of lower wages forced upon another, or having a highly prosperous family business which had its foundation in cotton or tobacco?

How can one be blind to withholding one from an education to their own advantage?

We'll see if God thinks there is nothing to confess.

BTW God requires restitution for all manner of wrong doing, and every manner of theft. If the Jubilee was about returning collateral for unpaid loans, can theft remain unrestituted?

Did God set a statute of limitations for restitution or did man, perhaps as a way to keep what was stolen?

Will a Spirit-filled Christian be able to avoid God's fault-finding, while he enjoys the fruit of theft, and refuses to acknowledge or confess the crimes of his forefathers?

I think not.

If OT ordinances are not in effect, how can you rely on the promise of a cancelled ordinance?

If the ordinance says the son is free from punishment for the father's sin, & the ordinance is no longer in effect, then reason says the son can now be liable.

The point was confession. God required confession for the sins of forefathers.

Lev 26:40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers . . .

God required this confession from ancestors before He would honor His covenant with their fathers.

If we expect God to restore our nation, restore our marriages, restore our children, restore our wealth, confession of the theft of families, wives, children & production, i.e., the sins of slavery and ALL its ripple effects may be a good place to start.

Don't we have to constantly acknowledge how we have wronged God . . . and He is God, able to withstand the wrong?

How much more must wrong be acknowledge when it has caused generations of misery & poverty to mere men?

How can one seriously think that today's crime & vilolence is divorced from the theft of production, wives & children. If the profiteers from crime will not confess, will God not provide justice to the thieves & their ancestors?

Those (including ancestors) who profited from slavery & those who oppressed slaves will have to take responsibility, or there will never be a healing.

Ancestors need not to feel guilty, but must acknowledge they have profited for generations from the involuntary, ripple-effect misery of others.

Christians should understand this, since we have profited from the voluntary death of Jesus.

Example
If Mr. Brown stole Mr. Gray's new truck 5 years ago, and gave it as a present to his grandson, who has no idea it is stolen property.

Today, 5 years later it is discovered the stolen truck is still in possession of the grandson, and still being driven. Does he now get to keep the truck because he has no guilt?

Example
In 1700, Mr. Jones stole millions of dollars from Mr. Smith, killing many of his family. The Jones' prospered mightly from theft and murder, causing the Smiths to suffer mightily for over 300 years.

In 2006 it is proven the above facts are true. Should the wrong not be righted because the current Jones' are not guilty of theft or murder, though they have continuously prospered from the wrongs of their ancestors?

Are the Smiths to continue suffering from the Jones' evils?

Those who don't like God's Word and encourage others to ignore & disregard God's Word, will not have to worry about what happens in Heaven. They won't be there.

They will be with a very large, evil demon named Abaddon (Apollyon), i.e., destroying angel. Rev 9

Eloy, If your heart longs to preach and teach, perhaps the Lord has you unemployed so that He can instruct you. If so, it is not likely you will get employment until the Lord is finished.

Perhaps you may want to spend time with Him and inquire if employment at this time is His Will for you.

Men Give Me Your Thoughts

Is he diseased and doesn't want to pass it to you? Is he emotionally (sexually) locked to the other woman, but historically (parentally) locked to you? Married does not always equal "real friends". Some men will do to other women what they would never do to their "wife".

Pretty does not equal hot. Porcelain dolls are not very warm. Not trying to be mean. But you must consider what he is not saying. You can't repair if you don't know what is wrong.
