Moral Houserules OK

I don't know you well enough to say what I think about you.

But I think of: "nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3) I need to be concerned about what I could allow into my mind. Be an example of how to love, not only enforcing against what is wrong.

Do not let my mind have a "one-night stand" with >

self-righteous criticizing, while I am "not egg-zactly" so with it, myself

unforgiveness

comparing myself with others, and I am the superior one

"Do all things without complaining and disputing," (in Philippians 2:14-16)

Where Did Evil Come From

"the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:2)

Our battle against evil is not against people who do it (Ephesians 6:12) but against the evil spiritual being who "works in" people.

Satanic emotions work very hard to destroy people from loving.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God" (in 2 Corinthians 10:4). And because He is almighty, we succeed with Him > "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)

But the word "evil" has other meanings, for example the troubles which God brought upon the disobedient Jews. That was circumstantial "evil", in order to resist the Jews' evil.

Losing My Marriage

Hi, Ellen . . . if the reality is you do not trust any of your ladies who you know . . . this can mean you need a stronger social base for doing well in your marriage.

We in Jesus are "members of one another" (Ephesians 4:25, Romans 12:5). Members of a body trust and so depend on each other. In a body, there are not two "married" members who are isolated from the others > we all need each other.

However, many marriages are more or less isolated couples with even each spouse so independent of the other, isolated. This is a basic problem, so ones even in marriage do not have basic Christian love and relating.

Learn how to love, with Jesus and whomever He has to help you > Matthew 11:28-30.

Wrestling Against Demons

Basically, Seg, there is "the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience." (in Ephesians 2:2) Satan's evil spirit can work very hard, using his emotions to drive people after pleasure. Also, in people's minds, the wrong spirit can have people thinking what he wants them to decide and understand.

We become stronger against his spirit, by refusing to argue or complain > Philippians 2:14-16.

So, he does not only "read people's minds", but can be the one who has people think what they decide to believe.

And we Christians are not perfect. So our imperfect character can have us available to how he would effect us to think and feel and desire. So we need to grow in Jesus > 1 John 4:17-18, 2 Timothy 1:7.

Leviathan And Behemouth

The Bible can have a way of not going into detail about who certain people were, what some animal is, and explanations of things and what people were thinking.

Possibly because the focus and direction of the Bible is that our Father predestined us "to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren." (in Romans 8:29) This God has not forgotten.

Leviathon and explanations etc. "likely" will be forgotten! (c:

What Is Excommunication

In the scripture, we have the example of how Paul ordered the Corinthians to put away that evil person who had his father's wife.

But this was a measure meant to bring the man to repentance.

1 Corinthians chapter five, 2 Corinthians 2:1-11.

But this was not done by high-up out-of-touch leaders. The Corinthians knew Paul and his example personally. So, they had his example and message so they could know what is right, and not just know what is wrong.

End Time Guillotines

It doesn't say. What I see is that if they do something to kill someone, it might not work and the person could revive and ones could say they were brought back to life miraculously. So, ones might cut off heads so Christians don't have a chance to seem to come back from the dead.

Seven Noahide Laws

I don't even know what they are. You might share them here with us, because others might also not know what you are talking about, so we can comment on them.

How To Get Saved

Paul talks about we "who first trusted in Christ," in Ephesians 2:12. So, I can see this means that someone is saved once one has trusted in Jesus.

An issue is if God controls who comes to trust in Jesus, or does the person make the choice all on one's own?

Either way, Jesus calls to "all" > "'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:28-29)

So . . . if a person "chooses Jesus" but does not obey how Jesus gives us "rest for your souls", we might ask if the person really got saved.

Predestination With Free Will

If we are free, let us choose to learn how to do everything in sharing with our Groom Jesus in His "rest for your souls." (in Matthew 11:29) If Jesus has made us "free indeed" (John 8:36), we succeed in this (c:

But if in our wills we are "free from God" (consider Romans 6:17-20), and therefore in sin, we will to do what is in sin. Free will, then, can be separation from God, so we can make our own choices apart from Him. It is better to be "free indeed" because of being "one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

Control A Man's Wife

If she controls his life, you could control him by controlling her.

But she can't be controlled unless there is something that has her under its power. If money controls her, you might control her by controlling money, for one example. If she is desperate for honey and attention . . .

"I will not be brought under the power of any," Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:12.

But if her man is not controlled by things of his life, but is submitting to God, then he will take advantage of whatever nonsense you and she might do, and with God turn it to God's use.

Was Lazarus Dead

"it is appointed to men to die once," we have in Hebrews 9:27.

Jesus said he was dead.

So, if he did die, may be he is still somewhere on this earth, if Hebrews 9:27 is literal and means each human can die, only once.

Can you "imagine" being Lazarus on this earth, all the time since then, knowing you can not die?

What would you do, if you could go anywhere and do anything, knowing you could not die?

Is Dating A Sin

I would first see who I get into godly sharing with . . . who is obviously helping me get more real with Jesus. And see who is submissive with me > "submitting to one another in the fear of God." (Ephesians 5:21) "Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation" (in Philippians 2:14-15).

And be prayerful about what I do with each lady who shares like this with me and we trust each other. I am finding that the love which comes with this is so better than the feelings and spirit which lure me to seek romantic pleasure. "Test all things, hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Are You A Goat Or A Sheep

"And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." (1 John 2:2)

"As it is written, 'Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.' What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!" (Romans 9:13-14)

"Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens." (Romans 9:18)

What If It Doesn't Work

When I pray and submit to God and something doesn't work out, now I pray and submit to God for what He has me do next.

"And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God." (2 Corinthians 8:5)

There are people who try to use God to do certain things, but they do not first give themselves to Him all the way for all He pleases to do with them.

God is not a part-time employee!

Why So Many Mean Women

We have plenty of reports of how people who have been faithful to God have had mean people messing with them and their lives, but God has done all He is committed to doing with these people who have stayed with Him.

They were mean to Jesus. How much did that stop Jesus from getting His Bride?

(c:

I can boast how right I am, but God knows. He won't trust me with a real lady of Jesus, if He knows I am not being humble and honest with Him. If I want a real woman, I must become a real man. The real ones can tell the difference! (c: They won't evaluate me by my looks, and say-so, and charm and smart talk (John 7:24).
