Can I Wear A Kilt

The Celtic nations today see themselves like states within the same country, and since the beginning of the 20th century they have used any and all Celtic symbols jointly as nationalistic symbol. These are worn to mark the Scots, Irish and Welsh as being one people, of a common heritage, and so different to the English, who, you will recall, are continental blow-ins, and only here since 1066!

For this reason I think that it is totally appropriate for anyone of the Celtic Diaspora to wear one, and indeed anyone else who enjoys Celtic culture, be he American or Canadian, Congolese or Cambodian!
