Does God Forgive Remarriage

God's word takes a strong stance against remarriage. I was in this situation where I wanted a divorce so that I could one day remarry. After much prayer, God told me NO. I have since remained seperated from my spouse, 15 years. I began a deep search in God's word, and have never found where remarriage is acceptable except for DEATH of a spouse. God forgives ALL sin, but remarriage is living in the perpetual sin of Adultery. Although God forgives, the problem is "sinning no more". We are called to turn away from our sin. Remarriage is a constant state of the sin of Adultery.

Blood Transfusions Biblical

I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when my youngest son was only one year old, back in 2008. I have had many blood transfusions, so many that I have lost count. My doctor told me that if I didn't have a series of intense chemo treatments that would basically shut down my immune system, to be followed by a bone marrow transplant, that I would die. None of my brothers were a good match. A total stranger stepped up and agreed to be my donor. We have never met. He did it out of love. The Bible may not say anything about transfusions and transplants, but it says a great deal about love.

Why Do You Go To Church

A.K.A. Joseph, I can relate to what you are saying. Unfortunately, there are many types of "cliques" within churches. This should not be. Sadly, if you are not among a clique, it seems like you are either ignored completely, or simply tolerated.

Did Jesus Have Brothers

Jesus had older brothers through Joseph's previous marriage. Jesus was Mary's ony child

Are Churches Today Vile

Greg, there is a mega church up by us that
has a book store and a cafe. Just when you think you have seen it all! Have you heard
about the ATM-like "Giving Kiosks" that are
going up in some churches. It is getting increasingly difficult to differentiate the
"church" from the outside world. Remember
what Jesus did with the moneychangers!

Great Falling Away Close

I used to think that the falling away was a future event, but now I am convinced we are in its midst.

Hug A Loved One Today

j._nonymous, I'm so sorry to hear about your
brother's passing, and especially at such a young age. I just loss my father about a month ago... it is extremely painful. I
appreciate your words for us to ponder. All
too often we get swept up in daily routine,
etc., and we don't stop to consider how others may percieve us, and our love for them. Better to be overly demonstrative, than not demonstrative enough. Thank you for your insight.

Prayer Request For Baby

I'm VERY happy to hear how well your wife and baby are doing! Keep updating us! May
the Lord bless you and keep you!

Are Churches Ritualistic

The body of Christ is supposed to function
as a whole, with each member contributing.
Unfortunately, within the standard "church
service" you find a one man show. It is difficult for each member to exercise their spiritual gifts, the way a church service is structured.

Prayer Request For Baby

My heart goes out to you, your wife, and your precious son. I will pray for you all.If it is any consolation, when I was expecting my youngest, the first ultrasound showed a heart defect. In addition, almost every time I went in for a checkup, they put me on a monitor, because my son's heart rate was erratic. Toward the end of the pregnancy, when they were performing another ultrasound, the heart defect had disappeared. There is nothing beyond the hand of the Lord. My love to you all.

Obedience Brings Blessing

"ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 Paul had a "thorn in the flesh",though he pleaded with the Lord that it depart, still boasting in his infirmities. 2Corinthians 12:7-10 We are called to be faithful to the Lord ...in the sunshine AND the rain. Read Philippians 4:12-13 !!!

Nachos For Communion

"Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said "Take this and divide it among yourselves,
"for I say to you, I will not drink of the
fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
Then He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying "This is My body which is given for you, do this in
rememberance of Me."

Nachos For Communion

If this "preacher" was "joking", he has no fear of the Lord.

If this preacher really did this, he has no fear of the Lord.

Yes, this is blasphemous, and it is a sign of the times.

Evolution In The Classroom

1.) God created man in His own image.
2.) God gave man dominion over all the earth, including the animals He had created.
3.) A man is a man.
4.) A monkey is a monkey.
5.) The THEORY of evolution is blasphemy.

Just a thought for those who believe we
evolved from monkeys---Why is the jungle still full of them??

One World Church Biblical

The "ecumenical movement" is like a modern
day religious tower of babel. There is only
ONE way to the Father, and that is through the Son, Jesus Christ.

Always Preaching About Money

I am repulsed by "prosperity theology"
of today. The Lord said, "Freely you have recieved,
freely give" (Matt. 10:8)
I actually heard Mike Murdock say,
about his request for a "$58.00 seed",
that if it was only for money
"may his tongue cleave to the roof of his
mouth". No fear of the Lord!br>He brags about his rolls royces, etc. 1 Timothy 6:8 says, "And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content". Wheat and tares!

Is The U.S. A Christian Nation

Dan V., thankyou for calling me "intolerant
of other religious ideologies".
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me." John 14:6
