Always Learning Scriptures

StrongAxe
I must disagree with you somewhat. How we interpret the following passage makes a great deal of difference. One cannot be indifferent to it:
Jesus said to them, Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is real food, and my blood is real drink." John 6:53-55
Either Jesus meant what he said, or he didn't. There can only be one correct interpretation for this. It makes a great deal of difference. You decide what the correct interpretation is. |
Always Learning Scriptures

There are thousands of Christian denominations with thousands of interpreters of scripture, all claiming to be led by the Holy Spirit, many of whom contradict each other. What are we to make of that? |
Democrat And Republican Thoughts

Do you think this is how the conversation would have gone?
TRUMP: Vlad, don't attack Ukraine. That wouldn't be nice. PUTIN: Okay, Donald, if you say so. I won't. TRUMP: Thanks, buddy! |
Living In The End Times

The End Times started right after Jesus rose from the dead. We have been living in them for the last two thousand years. |
What Is The Strong Delusion
|
|
When people are deluded they don't know they are deluded or they would not be deluded. We are probably all deluded in some respects. |
What Is The Purpose Of Blogs

I guess nothing really worth while is accomplished here. I'm going to take a breather and be away for a while. I wish you all peace and every blessing. |
What Is The Purpose Of Blogs

My question is
What is the main purpose of the conversations here? I don't understand why this same small group of people keep arguing about the same things year after year. |
Is Paul the 13th Apostle
|
|
Jesus picked 12 to be Apostles. Judas, the betrayer, was replaced by Matthias. They were chosen specifically to judge the 12 Tribes of Israel.
Paul went to the Gentiles. Jesus didn't select him to be a judge. He was in a completely different category from the 12. |
