I know that the King James version says "angels" in that scripture, but if you will check your Strong's Concordance, the word is actually "elohim" which is the plural Hebrew word for God, as referred to in Genesis 1 (let US make man in OUR image) which refers to the Trinity. Man was created a little lower that God, and the angels are ministers to serve those who will be heirs of salvation (us). I guess the translators got a little nervous with that phrase but it is true. God gave man the dominion over the earth; He didn't give dominion to angels. |
