Confession Of Sin
Happy Thanksgiving David!

I pray you have a truly blessed day.

Yes I'm real.

Confession Of Sin
David, I don't think you understand Romans 6-8. This is about Jesus Christ and how He works in our lives not how you work without the power of Christ in your life.

It's evident your argument shows you have not obeyed this part of our salvation. Those who have also know 1 Peter 4 say " those who have suffered in the flesh have ceased from sin" another important element you leave out. If you don't like Paul, why diss Peter who also represents Jesus Christ teaching? Confession doesn't require suffering. But if the Spirit is continually putting to death the deeds of the flesh, Romans 8:11-13 another important element you overlook, why would the Holy Spirit need to do this at every moment if you are sinless?

Confession Of Sin
I believe David is missing the point of sin. Paul addressed the continuation of sin after one has repented and exactly where and WHO that power comes through. David, even if you want to preach sinless perfection Romans 6-8 is the only POWER there is over sin.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Why Does God Punish Us
David, you seem to be saying you have a healed heart. What I find inconsistent with your testimony here is one who makes false statements about others you've never met, and is not the fruit of one with a healed heart.

Yes Jesus can heal our lives, but that should not display a haughty and arrogant prideful disposition. A truly healed heart doesn't slander another.

A healed heart demonstrates 1 Corinthians 13.

I pray you will grow up into that healing one day and know how to communicate with others, even those who don't agree with you. Love your enemies is also just as important a teaching from Jesus as everything He said. You can't pick and choose what to obey and then expect others to take you seriously.

Why Does God Punish Us
David, I can say with all certainty anyone who claims to be sinless is the one who is not confessing sin, and would be one without conscience. Until we grow up into Christ into the fullness and stature of Christ, not a single one here on earth who is a Christian is without sin. And we won't reach that stage of perfection until we are glorified together with Christ. No one is in a glorified state on earth.

Your false beliefs David have led you to have no conscience, as displayed here accusing others and slandering those you don't know personally.

If you had a conscience you would repent and stop this attack on others.

I forgive you.

You need to work out your own salvation and let others work out theirs.

Why Does God Punish Us
The scripture posted here by others show man has a conscience David had chosen to ignore and then slander for a smoke screen to hide behind. This has been a pattern with David since I started reading contributions here. David has the most unteachable spirit I have ever witnessed in my lifetime and is not the Holy Spirit within.

Romans 1 is describing a time before the Law of Moses yet totally destroy David's teaching in Romans 2.

So where is this scripture God decided to withhold a conscience from the Jews? Why would anyone given the Law of Moses not be convicted of sin? Paul tells us that was the purpose of the Law.

Condemning others is sin David. Something you are blinded to. Why is that?

Why Does God Punish Us
David, kathr4453 posted this early on you ignored. You see, below man has always had a conscience. If we didn't , there would have been nothing to purge . Now please read carefully. It does not say our conscience was dead. Correct? It says dead works. correct?

I would suggest doing a word study on all scripture that have to do with our conscience. If God didn't give man a conscience, then God cannot judge man by his conscience. And you should not be judging anyone either.

Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Why Does God Punish Us
David, bearing false witness of others is one of the most dispicable sins in scripture. Why you continually do this is a giveaway here that you think too highly of yourself, and can only look good by making another look bad. I have no respect for such people. Please stop.

But let's establish some truth here. Tell me if you are a Sabbath Keeper? Do you obey this Old Covenant Law or do you believe it is included in the New Covenant? Do you condemn those who do not keep the Sabbath laws?

Let's beging here and build up from there. Would you accept this challenge?

Why Does God Punish Us
David, I never stated your verse in Romans 1 was Romans 2. I said you are always using Romans 2 as your teaching point. As a matter of fact Romans 2:6-7. You went backward.

David, also Romans 2:4 again show men have a conscience. Romans 2:4 lead into your "go to" verses 6-7.

You're not teaching strong meat David. And those were Paul's words, not words we can apply to ourselves. You are not an Apostle. Not understanding that in itself shows you are still on milk.

Why Does God Punish Us
David, again confusing. You are now saying God interfered with mans conscience and you use Romans 2 as your teaching point? I don't see what you seem to be seeing. Man before the flood, seared their own conscience where God gave THEM OVER. Not only so, but brought in Gods wrath upon all but 8 souls.

A seared conscience is not inherited or passed down. But that seems to be what you believe. Are you Calvinist? I'm not, so we'll just have to disagree on that point. I don't know any Calvinist's who believe as you do in other areas.

I'm curious what denomination you belong to. Total depravity believes in no free will. The two thoughts can't survive without the other.

Why Does God Punish Us
David I'm confused by your comment here. Are you saying the law interfered with man's conscience? You say those before the Law did grieve over sin, but those after the law did not? How is that possible?

I believe those who's faith was in God regardless of whether they were under the Law or not, just as today not being under the Law, feel a godly sorrow when we sin.

Those before the Law we're not under the New Covenant either so your point is confusing.

Would you clarify what you mean?

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Michael_e, maybe you are not aware of this, but you are not preaching "THE CROSS". What you are doing is preaching Paul. Paul rebukes you in 1 Corinthians 1:10-17.

The Bible doesn't define the Gospel as the Gospel of Paul.

There are many references in scripture to: The Gospel. There is, of Christ, of God, of Grace, of Peace etc. But actually there are more scriptures that just say "The Gospel". Simply stated THE GOSPEL. But i've never seen one called, The Gospel of Paul.

You do know Idolotry is sin. It's what Paul was talking about in
1 Corinthians 1-3 Why don't you study those chapters first and then continue to study to show yourself approved after passing that test.

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Michael_e, what do you believe you are doing here differently than James Stuart or any other who testifies of Jesus Christ?

My next question. You seem to be suggesting every Jewish person "inside" Israel had to be born in Jerusalem correct? Jerusalem was under Roman authority like most of the world was at that time. So please show us scripture that Jews were divided into categories of those INSIDE ISRAEL , meaning all those who were born in Jerusalem, and those OUTSIDE ISRAEL, meaning those born outside of Jerusalem.

Were Romans who were born in Jerusalem also classified differently than other Roman citizens?

Please provide proof from studying the Bible.

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
The more Michael_e tries to mock and discredit others the more he is actually discrediting and exposing himself as a false teacher. Seeing Jesus was already in Heaven when He rebuked Paul on the road to Damascus, Michael_e's condescending comment here is all that it is.

Michael_e seems to say a lot of nothing, seeing he's never told us exactly what Paul followed Christ to. To the bathroom? To another Gospel? To himself? If Paul said " the WAY I follow Christ , then please be specific about THE WAY.

Jesus said I AM THE WAY TRUTH AND LIFE. That has and will never change. Now Michael _e is saying Paul is now the "I AM"?

Michael_e, the more you post the more you sound like a cult.

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
A cornerstone (Greek:, Latin: Primarii Lapidis) will sometimes be referred to as a "foundation-stone", and is symbolic of Christ, whom the Apostle Paul referred to as the "head of the corner" and is the "Chief Cornerstone of the Church" (Ephesians 2:20). All meaning foundation. Paul uses these terms interchangeably.

Michael_e, making condescending comments with your replies is a sign of pride where you refuse to listen to others. You have completely ignored my comments, Phil's comments and Strongaxe comments.

You have much more learning to do and I would suggest doing so before you trip. Arrogance has no place in the BOC.

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Michael_e is again confusing Revelation with Salvation. A new born baby Christian doesn't exactly understand the same things a fully matured Christian does. Does this mean they are not really saved until they fully understand all God has in store for us?

What I see in 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 which says, (sic) that this hidden wisdom of God concerning Jesus death and resurrection was spoken of in mystery form, as we do see through out scripture, but had a reason for man and Satan and his cohorts to not understanding, because if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. Satan was defeated at THE CROSS, a point Michael_e seems to overlook. God didn't fully REVEAL His plan until AFTER Jesus rose from the dead.

What Is Rightly Dividing The Word
2 Timothy 3:15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

This is an outstanding verse. Paul talking to Timothy. Timothy from a child, long before Paul knew him, had known the holy scriptures , this would be the Holy scriptures of the Old Testament, that were able to make him wise UNTO SALVATION through faith WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS.

So we know the Apostles letters were not called The Holy Scriptures at that time. And this proves Paul preached the same salvation that the Holy Scriptures taught.

I believe Michael_e is confusing salvation with revelation. We are not saved by revelations.

Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God,

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

What Is Rightly Dividing The Word
John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

What "day" was Abraham looking to? Did Abraham know about the Kingdom being "restored" to Israel? I think not. Unless God told Abraham in a vision Israel would be scattered and then restored?

So Michael_e doesn't connect the promises in the Old Testament of the Messiah with Paul's Jesus? John the Baptist "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" doesn't apply to the Church? The prophecy of Isaiah 53 is not fulfilled at THE CROSS?

Thank you for sharing this with us Michael_e. You preach another Jesus. Paul did not. And I assume you are saying the Bereans are not part of the body of Christ?
