What Is Love

Love means how God makes me really kind and caring in my character . . . so I am submissive to God so I do the good He wants me to do for any person.

Interpret The Bible

I note how we have not seen Cluny since sometime in 2020 . . . if my checking on this is correct.

We can do better than interpret the Bible for ourselves.

God in us does His meaning of His word. God Himself is infallible, in how He changes us to be sharing with Him in His love. And we discover the meaning of this, by how God Himself does all He means.

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

This is in every child of God. God proves Himself! Never mind wrong interpretations. Beware of false love. Is there any denomination that has every member in God's one real love?

Predestined As A Son Of God

Yes, if we have trusted in Jesus, we are children of God. But we do serve God. So as His children we also are His servants.

What Is Clamor

Thank you, everyone, for offering your views on this (c:

I think clamor can include how inside our minds we can have a racket of thinking with stinking and confusion. It can be my own nasty judgmental self-righteous criticizing of other people . . . looking down on them, instead of caring about them and praying with hope for them.

It can be dominating thinking, not caring and encouraging for loving.

The noise of worry in our minds can be loud, with its pathological lying!

But God's voice is quiet and kind, gentle and humble (c:

What Is The Perfect Law

more excellent way > in your quote of Hebrews 2:14 your quote says Satan "has" the power of death. But my translation says he "had" the power of death.

Now, you say the commandments have been destroyed. However, in our New Testament we have commandments. For example >

"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation" > in Philippians 2:13-16.

By stopping whatever in us that would cause us to argue or complain, we can become blameless and harmless and without fault in the character of God's love. How's this for a commandment?

New Generation Of Worshippers

It depends on who you mean by the new generation.

If you mean ones who are new in Jesus . . . yes, these will grow in Christ and how Jesus has us worshiping our Heavenly Father.

Will this be only during church? I understand that worship includes staying attentive to God, all the time, and being submissive to how He personally rules us in His own peace >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

The Time Of Trouble

There are trouble makers who are Democrats, and trouble makers who are Republicans. And all of them can make trouble while having a regime or not having a regime!

And with God we can make His good use of any situation. So, there are the trouble makers who get people to just blame the ones in power, instead of staying attentive and submissive to God in His peace (Colossians 3:15)

What Is Clamor

By the way . . . I just offered a blog where we can talk about how our methods in Jesus are superior to the methods used by conquerors. And I think of this > ones in Satan's kingdom of conquering use clamor as one of their tactical methods.

I mean how attacking soldiers might use screaming and yelling. And, of course, ones arguing can do this, instead of how God's word says to relate . . .

"without complaining and disputing" (in Philippians 2:14).

What Is Clamor

Well, Ephesians 4:31 is talking about clamor which we need to put away. So, here God's word is not talking about what is good.

But joyful clamor about a military victory might also not be good, if they are boasting about how they themselves were able to win, and not boasting in the Lord.

Plus, Jesus now wins in ways better than military.

Confessing Our Sins

Hi, Kathr . . . you said >

"Mark 2:7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?"

One item about this > this is what the people said. It is a quote of what unbelievers said!

So, I would be careful about assuming that what they said is correct.

Even so . . . God is the One who forgives. But I now understand how He includes us in His process of forgiving.

Because Jesus Christ's forgiveness is not only a legal action of clearing us of charges. There is also how He through us assures us and comforts us, plus has us joining in following His example of how to forgive.

He lives in us > Galatians 2:20 > He shares with us how He is loving and kind in forgiving.

Predestined As A Son Of God

Yes, we are God's children, but we do serve.

"Let all that you do be done with love." (1 Corinthians 16:14)

And so our serving is in our Father's family caring and sharing way. We do not waste ourselves or lord ourselves over others, but we share with Jesus in His "rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30)

And yes we have been adopted. We used to be children of the devil who is love-dead. But now we have our Father who is alive ! ! ! (c:

And we are Jesus Christ's brothers and sisters, being conformed to how Jesus is and loves > this is God's basic focus of everything.

Keep The Sabbath Holy

Hi, Rhonda (c: First, Jesus wants us to rest in Him . . . all the time.

"'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:29)

This is all the time. So, in case we do stop activities during the Sabbath, it is time to be still with God and rest in Him and be submissive to Him in His peace. Then this is our standard for how to live and love, all the time.

Like this, in prayer we can stop and get corrected and adjusted by God so we are ready to stay submissive all the time in sharing with Him >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

Pentecostal Church Our Model

"Test all things, hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

There are false people involved in what they call Pentecostal. So, no we should not assume any and all Pentecostal activity is our model.

I have been with various Pentecostal people and groups. Not all are alike, plus the Bible has given me so much more than a lot of Pentecostal and non-Pentecostal people have given me and told me.

But I would say I have known certain people who have been examples of how I need to become and to love.

Confessing Our Sins

Yes Kathr . . . if I understand you right, whatever James 5:16 means to do, this needs to go along with all else which God's word says, including James chapter one.

I believe James 5:16 shows that our Father includes us in His process of healing us of character problems. We are healed more and more together with Him and with one another . . . ministering this healing grace to one another > 1 Peter 4:9-10.
