I understand what you are saying about the two baptism.

And every church teaches that truth.

I do not think that the punishment that Christ endured, and the baptism with water are the same things.

The baptism with which Jesus suffered, can be likened to Jesus saying that he will be in the heart of the earth.

Divisions In The Bible
Most chapter divisions were made in the 1200's by an Archbishop of Canterbury. Verse divisions were made by Stephanus some 300-400 years later. Rather late, isn't it?
---Cluny on 9/5/13
What were their inspiration?
What was the intent?
Was there anything at that time written in such chapters and verses which could serve as a template?

1 Cor 7:32 He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit:

A unique ministry is afforded the single person

The bible says that the seventh day is the sabbath, and you are not follwoing what the bible says, are you not in the least bit curiousas to why ths is so?

the bible says that sin is thetrangression of the law, and that the ten commandmenst points out sin, are you not the least it interested in why your pastor does not teach you to keep all of the ten commandments?

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

believe me, MANY pastors are waiting for their congregation to bring us the subject and ask to study it from the bible

Exactly Isaiah. You evaded true recipients.

Romans 3:9 What then? are we better [than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin,

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

there are TOOO MANY verses that include non hebrews in god promise

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts,

And these gentiles cannot be Nth kingdom, since when the law was given there was ONE israel not a divided kingdom, both received the law AT THE SAME TIME

were wrong about Jesus calling on the bible for a witness. ---barb on 9/5/13

If it is written in the bible, how can it be wrong?

Deut 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book,..That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
Take this book of the law, and put it IN THE SIDE of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.

John 19:20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city:

So based on my KJV and yours also, Golgotha was outside the city fo Jerusalem

Further more, the prophecy does not say that the two witnesses were killed in Jerusalem, It says spiritually sodom, and Egypt
A city that endorsed sodomy, and rejected God. That is not Jerusalem by any means

shira4368 you are 74 years old. You have been at your church serving faithfully for years. You deserve some honesty from your Pastor.

Set some time aside to speak with your pastor privately. You have earned that time and respect.

Ask your pastor to be honest with you and tell you which day (sunday through saturday) which day is the 7th, and which day does the BIBLE say is the sabbath.

Ask him based on Galation 3:15 How is it possible to add sunday to the new covenant AFTER the death fo Jesus

It is also possible that God will use you to bring your church into harmony with all ten of His commandments

Esther 4:14 who knoweth whether thou art come for such a time as this?

Deut 31:24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book,..That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
Take this book of the law, and put it IN THE SIDE of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

This is a book in which Moses wrote the laws and the testimony in. They placed it n the SIDE of the ark

the Ten commandments went IN THE ARK

Deut 10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them IN THE ARK.

How could you not know that

First of all, this is what you MUST look for to join God's church. I did not make it up, I just posted strait from the WORD OF GOD!!

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Same as in the New Testament:

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

You did not know before NOW you know the Baptist church does NOT meet this standard, and you want to be in God's church, so why stay in a church that fails the standard?

That is the important question

Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Acts 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Can someone tell me why the emphasis on The word of God being preached every sabbath,
and the gentiles wanting to hear the word next sabbath, and the whole city coming next sabbath IF there are these so calls churches that meet on sunday?

What would you do if a group of people wanted to hear the word form you NEXT SABBATH?

What Is Biblical Faith
\\Faith is knowing what God says and trusting it without proof.\\

All ten commandments were spoken by God at the same time, all ten were written on the same table of stone, and not one single bible text isolated one from the other.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

All are writen in the heart of Christians 2 Cor 3:3 written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Again no isolation. So explain why you isolate the one that says God created from the rest of them?

Are There Two Witnesses
Francis, when did Jesus ever call on the bible to witness for Him?
---barb on 9/4/13

Deuteronomy 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.

Does YOUR church teach that there is more than one gospel in the Bible?

Does YOUR church teach that Jesus was baptized multiple times?

Would YOU go to a church that teaches these things?
--michael_e on 9/3/13

I would like to see your scruoptural / biblical / doctrinal referecnes PLEASE
